Two tag and
title offices serve the motoring public --
the main office is located in 625 Georgia
Ave. Room 101,
County Courthouse. A branch office is
located in the Bonny Oaks Industrial Park
on Heritage Park Drive near the UPS
Package Center. When visiting either
office, please consider donating a dollar
to the State
Organ Donor Awareness Program.
Both
offices are open 8 AM to 4:30 PM EST,
Monday through Friday; except for designated

either office please bring identification.
If you
transact business for friends, spouse or
other family members, a notarized
Power
of Attorney is required. A free
form for this purpose may be obtained at
either office location, by calling

website.

Photo Driver License or other acceptable
photo I.D. Go

State of Tennessee Dept. of Revenue.

The branch
office issues most license tags. However,
personalized or other one-of-a-kind tags
are normally issued at the Courthouse. If
you prefer to pick up this type tag at the
Branch, please make your request one day
in advance. We are happy to transfer
special plates to the branch inventory.

Only checks
on Hamilton County banks, please. Checking
accounts must be in the same name as the
applicant. No generic, counter or
second-party checks, please. Visa and
MasterCard charges are accepted for
payment. Checks should be made payable to
the Hamilton County Clerk.
